To solve the world's biggest challenges, we need disruptive thinkers. Albert Einstein used play as a creative method for problem solving. Now, the whole world can play with the toy that helped inspire a genius.

For both global leaders and children all over the world, access to real play is vital.

Play empowers children to create and learn for the rest of their lives. It is a fundamental right for all children.

That's why we have 3D scanned Einstein's original toy blocks for anyone to 3D print

The Real Play Coalition was founded by Unilever, the LEGO Foundation and the IKEA Group, alongside media partner National Geographic.

What is Real Play?

We define Real Play as hands-on, exploratory play, pursued and enjoyed for its own sake, both in and out of doors. Research shows that Real Play is critical for positive child development, and that it contributes directly to the health, well-being, cognitive development, self-esteem, and future success of children

Why do we exist?

Our mission is to facilitate and champion a greater quantity and quality of play for every child, supporting their individual learning and development as they grow. We believe we can make the biggest difference through our collective influence and scale. But driving real, sustained change will take many hearts and many hands.

So, join us…and help protect real play for today's children and tomorrow's!
